Euopean launch of new FANUC painting robots P-250iB and P-50iB on REITER booth at the PaintExpo in Karlsruhe

At the PaintExpo exhibition this year REITER GmbH + Co. KG Oberflächentechnik will host the European launch of the new painting robots P-250iB/15 and P-50iB from FANUC Robotics (booth 2201, hall 2) together with the automatic gun AGR-08 and the high rotation bell by Reiter.

The P-250iB/15 has a hollow wrist, internally routed paint line for maximum cleanliness. Process equipment, valves, motors for dosing pumps, etc. can be mounted inside purged cavities inside the robot arm (J2 and J3-axis). Thus, there are even less interference contours on the robot arm, it is easier to clean, and dripping and contamination by paint residue are safely avoided.
Due to the large working envelope of P-250iB/15, the possibility of ceiling or wall mounting even the largest work pieces can be processed. High axis speed provide for best cycle times and process speeds. The high payload capacity of 15kg supports all types of paint spray guns, applicators and accessories.
The installation of valves, motors, etc. inside and at the J3 arm provides for shortest paint lines, fastest response times and minimal paint consumption. Precise movements, rapid reorientation and the suitability for powder and high-voltage applications further minimize overspray and paint consumption. Thanks to ceiling and wall mounting the size of paint booths can be minimized saving air and energy consumption.
P-250iB/15 standard type of floor and ceiling mounting options for wall mounting ("Wall Mount") and with plastic arm (arm-J3) are available.

Also the new compact painting robots P-50iB/15 and P-50/10L have a hollow wrist and internally routed paint lines. They are easy to clean and safely avoid dripping and contamination by paint residue.
Due to the large work area as well as by ceiling or wall mounting the robots can process even larger work pieces. The long arm version P-50iB/10L has 1.8 m range. High axis speed achieves best cycle times and process speeds. The high payload capacity of up to 15kg allows the use of all types of paint spray guns, applicators and accessories.
The ultra-compact design of the P-50iB helps to further reduce the size of paint booth to a minimum, further reduce air and energy consumption. With valves installed on the J3-arm, paint hose lengths are minimized, speeding up response times, minimizing paint consumption and improving quality. Precise movements, rapid reorientation optimize quality and reduce overspray.
P-50iB/15 standard type for floor, wall and ceiling mounting with 15 kg payload and 1.4 m reach. P-50iB/10L long arm type for floor, wall and ceiling mounting with 10kg payload and 1.8 m reach.

Both the P-250iB/15 and the P-50iB robots offer explosion protection according to CE standards and are certified according to ATEX Cat II 2 G and ATEX Cat II 2 D as well as for the North American standard FM (Class I, II, III).
